Newcomer Worship Welcome Team (NWWT)
This team welcomes first time visitors to HLC worship with a keepsake cross and welcome gift bag. The team assists greeters, ushers and clergy by helping others connect to the life of our church with information on groups, activities and ministry opportunities.
The Newcomer Worship Welcome Team welcomes newcomers and visitors to Hope Lutheran Church to greet them, make them feel at home and part of our church family.

The Need
Hope Lutheran Church is regularly visited by people seeking a church home or just desiring a place to worship in The Villages. The team’s goal is to warmly welcome visitors, answer questions or concerns about Hope, and to offer visitors gifts of welcome and friendship. These include a name tag, a handcrafted bookmark cross, and a Hope Lutheran Church pen. Team members are needed to serve at the Welcome Center in the lobby for 20-30 minutes prior to every worship service.
Who can join?
Anyone who has a heart for hospitality, is willing, friendly, and open can serve on the Team.
What's the time commitment?
The Welcome Team meets occasionally, and only as needed. Serving at the Welcome Center takes 20-30 minutes prior to a service.
