Lake Weir Campus Food Pantry

Jesus continues to remind us in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Hope Lutheran Church operates a food pantry at the Lake Weir Campus each Thursday from 10:00 – 12:00. The Food Pantry serves Individuals and families in need from Marion, Lake and Sumter counties. We provide staples, food, toiletries and other essential items.

We began mid 2019 and as of the end of November 2020, The Hope Lutheran Church Lake Weir Campus Food Pantry has over 400 families  registered, and that includes more than 1400 individuals.  The food pantry is staffed by volunteers from the church.
