Each year the Women of Hope assemble 80 school kits with specific items collected for each bag. Each bag is assembled with the same exact items. This ensures that each recipient receives uniform items that are useful to their situation. This is a program for Lutheran World Relief, a ministry of U.S. Lutheran, serving communities living in poverty overseas.

Stephen Ministers are caring people who care for people They are members of our congregation who meet one-to-one with someone dealing with life challenges such as grief, terminal illness, other medical diagnoses, pending surgery, family concerns, relocation difficulties, forgiveness issues, or a questioning faith.

Hope Lutheran Church partners with Eckerd Connects E-Nini-Hassee, an outdoor therapeutic program for troubled young women. Through the year, we collect items to benefit these girls and support them as they explore and develop spiritually, cognitively, emotionally, and physically while engaging in activities that require skills of self-control and self-reflection.  Click on Read More for donation needs.
