The 90+ Birthday Party will be held in person on Sunday, October 2 from 11:15am to 12:30pm at Hope Central Campus. This is a special day to honor all Hope members over the age of 90 years old.
Are you single, widowed, divorced or a caregiver whose spouse is not able to be socially active? If so, please think about joining us at an “On Our Own” meeting at Hope Central Campus. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 10:30am in the fellowship hall. After the meeting, those who wish can go to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

This year, we will reflect on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a special presentation from our friend Fr. Larry Recla, Priest of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Bushnell and Dean of the STS Florida Chapter.
The presentation will take place on Saturday, September 10 at 10:00am at Hope Central Campus.
Residents of the Village of DeSoto are holding a Food Drive on September 17 to benefit the Hope Lake Weir Campus Food Pantry. Food will be collected at Ednas' on the Green restaurant from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
We are looking to start this group fresh with new ideas. In order to hear from interested participants, we are having an informational meeting on September 1 at 9:30am at Hope Central Campus. Coffee will be served! Get to know one another and have some fun with old and new friends.

Hope Lutheran Church men will be partnering with Kipp Hayes, Executive Director of Dads for a Day, along with members of Fairway Christian Church, Encounter Church and other local Churches, to change the lives of children in need.
Dads for a Day strives to provide a positive male presence in the local schools that will assist teachers and administrators with the student population.
Each year the Women of Hope assemble 80 school kits with specific items collected for each bag. Each bag is assembled with the same exact items. This ensures that each recipient receives uniform items that are useful to their situation. This is a program for Lutheran World Relief, a ministry of U.S. Lutheran, serving communities living in poverty overseas.
Stephen Ministers are caring people who care for people They are members of our congregation who meet one-to-one with someone dealing with life challenges such as grief, terminal illness, other medical diagnoses, pending surgery, family concerns, relocation difficulties, forgiveness issues, or a questioning faith.
Hope Lutheran Church partners with Eckerd Connects E-Nini-Hassee, an outdoor therapeutic program for troubled young women. Through the year, we collect items to benefit these girls and support them as they explore and develop spiritually, cognitively, emotionally, and physically while engaging in activities that require skills of self-control and self-reflection. To help meet a need and support our neighborhood children, the Hope Lake Weir Campus Food Pantry is sponsoring a Back to School Shoe Drive for our clients from July 22 to August 4.
