Hope Lutheran Church supports over seventy traditional ministry and mission programs such as: food banks, vacation bible studies, respite gatherings for caregivers, and support of mission projects in the U.S. and overseas. These activities provide our members with opportunities to serve people in our community and the world.
In addition to these traditional ministries, we also have specialized programs directed specifically at ministering to our senior-oriented congregation. God has planted our church in a unique mission field, where a large portion of our congregation are members are aged 55 to 90 and above.
Our church sponsors small group programs that promote strong social bonds within our congregation, and numerous community-building activities and events that promote a sense of being a part of a church family.
We also work with local businesses and members within our congregation who have specialized skills and experience to provide information and assistance in areas where our senior members face special challenges as they navigate their final life phase. These include:
